(Cleveland) Cleveland City Hall and the Division of Police have announced the results of the City's Operation Clean Sweep that ran from November 28th through December 20th. In all, 56 people arrested for violent crimes throughout the city.
They break down this way:
15 for felonious assault shootings.
6 for murder.
6 for grand theft-motor vehicle, aggravated arson, and aggravated menacing.
6 for drug trafficking.
5 for aggravated robbery and carjacking.
5 for domestic violence and strangulation.
5 for federal and or state parole violations.
4 for aggravated burglary.
2 for rape and kidnapping.
2 for weapons violations.
The ages of suspects arrested range from 15 to 63. The Cleveland Division of Police worked with multiple local, state, and federal agencies during the operation.
