(Cleveland) James Farley was supposed to go to trial starting Wednesday, but instead the 59-year-old opted to plead guilty to a charge of aggravated vehicular homicide for the March 2023 death of 22-year old Samantha Nelson. Prosecutors say that Farley was driving a Bentley at a high rate of speed on I-90 in Cleveland, along with another driver in a Honda. It appeared like the two were either racing or involved in a chase of some sort. Farley's car struck a Jeep on the highway in which Nelson was a passenger. The crash caused the Jeep to overturn, throwing Nelson from the vehicle. Farley was injured in the crash, while the driver of the Honda continued on. Farley is due back in court on February 6th for sentencing.
