(Cleveland) One year in prison for 28-year-old Termaine Jackson of Twinsburg who pleaded guilty last month to charges of failure to comply with a police officer and assault on a police officer. It was last June when Jackson was pulled over on U. S. Route 422 in Solon for speeding, clocked going 88 mph in a 60-mph zone. Solon patrolman James Cervik stopped Jackson and noticed the scent of marijuana coming from the car, and asked Jackson to get out of the vehicle. But he refused, and when asked if he'd ever been arrested for a felony he replied yes, and asked if there was a gun in the vehicle he said yes again. That's when patrolman Cervik reached into the vehicle to try to put handcuffs on Jackson, but he put the vehicle in drive and sped off, dragging the officer some 25 feet before he had to let go. Cervik suffered minor injuries. Judge Maureen Clancy also suspended Jackson's license for 6-years.
