(Columbus) Dominion Energy has asked the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio to approve a roughly 16-percent rate increase for it's more than one million customers in Ohio. The company says it's invested four billion dollars into its system infrastructure over the past sixteen years and has one billion dollars not yet recovered in natural gas distribution. If approved by the PUCO, the increase would go into effect in 2025, and average about $13 dollars more per month. Dominion serves customers in Cuyahoga, Ashtabula, Geauga, Lake, Medina, Portage, Stark, and Summit counties.
