(Cleveland) The City of Cleveland is ready for the challenges of another northeast Ohio winter. A number of the City's departments took part in a media briefing on Thursday, including Public Works Director Frank Williams. Williams said the City's "Snowplow Tracker" will be up and running on the City's Streets Department webpage on days of snow events and will operate on a fifteen-minute delay. Williams says resident need to maintain realistic expectations when it comes to what they're seeing on the map, which shows where the plows have been. However, that may not be an indication that those roads are completely clear. They currently have almost 100 drivers of the 115 to be fully staffed, in addition to 82 trucks, 24 support vehicles, over 21,000 tons of salt and 20,000 gallons of salt brine. When it comes to what roads get plowed when: the primary and secondary main roads come first, then come the residential routes, and back again to the primary and secondary mains for clean-up.
