(Columbus) The Ohio Pharmacy Board is looking into claims of understaffing at at least ten CVS stores in Ohio that may have jeopardized customers' safety. The Board has heard about long waiting times for prescriptions, poor record keeping for controlled substances, and even expired medications still kept on shelves. A former pharmacy technician told the panel of a time when she was cornered at her car in the parking lot by customers who wanted to know when they would be getting their prescriptions. The incidents in question took place during the pandemic. CVS could face fines or even have stores' licenses revoked.
