NYC bagel shop praised for denying West Coaster’s ‘scooped’ gluten-free bagel request.
A Big Apple Bagel shop denied a LA fashion exec Taylor Offer’s request for a “scooped, gluten-free” bagel. Scooping is a popular maneuver for those looking to cut back on their gluten intake, or to allow for more filling - “There’s nothing more stressful than ordering a bagel in New York City,” CEO of athleisure brand Feat Clothing, complained in a TikTok, which got 3.9 million views in one day.
