(Painesville) - The remains of Marine Lance Corporal Austin B. Schwenk will be brought back to Northeast Ohio in the coming week, and his funeral plans have been announced.
The remains of LCpl Schwenk will arrive at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport Tuesday, October 31 at 5:10 p.m. They will be taken in a precession to Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Mentor, going past Riverside High School, from which Schenk is a graduate.
A public visitation will be Friday, November 3, from 3-8 p.m. at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Avenue, Mentor.
A public funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 4, at the Riverside High School Field House, 585 Riverside Drive, Painesville Township.

Schwenk was shot to death in a barracks at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. NCIS is investigating, but there have been reports that the shooting stemmed from an argument involving other Marines.
