This year's Meadows Turkey Bowl is dedicated to Pete and Gianna Rae Meadows. On January 14th, 2019, the Meadows Turkey Bowl family changed forever when Pete Meadows was diagnosed with brain cancer after just three months of marriage to his wife, Anita. Until then, the mission of the Meadows Turkey Bowl was to help the needy, especially the needy battling cancer. After Pete's diagnosis, a new mission emerged: Finding a cure for the type of brain cancer Pete is battling. This year, 100% of your money will go to the needy, especially the needy battling cancer, as well as to the Gianna Rae Fund that supports brain cancer research. We do this in memory of Gianna Rae, Pete and Anita's daughter, who passed away just before birth on Mother's Day weekend in 2022.
