Workers in Mississippi spent the better part of Wednesday morning catching chickens after a tractor-trailer that was transporting them crashed.
The accident occurred at about 6 a.m. in Jackson as the driver was transporting the chickens from Texas to a hen farm in Moselle, police say. The driver, an unidentified woman, and a passenger were taken to a local hospital with unspecified injuries, authorities say. Of four dogs she was also transporting, three were recovered, police say. The fourth has not been found.
Police have not released details of the crash, nor have they revealed whether all the chickens survived.
