A weather anchor in Knoxville, TN says she was fired - because her hair was too curly.
Tabitha Bartoe says she was let go earlier this month because her naturally curly locks weren't "aligning with the company and the company policy".
Bartoe says she was taken to a hair appointment on just her third day on the job, and "had no say in how my hair was supposed to be done".
Bartoe says she will continue a career in media and is currently pursuing a master's degree.
