CLEVELAND - A Cleveland EMS worker who has been missing since May 6 has been found safe. Family members of Lachelle Jordan confirm that she was found Thursday night, after walked into a convenience store on Euclid Avenue just before midnight and called police. There is no confirmation of where she has been for nearly a week. Jordan was being checked out at a Cleveland hospital Friday morning.
Jordan disappeared May 6 from her front yard in Glenville after she went to her car to retrieve something. The 30-year-old mother of two left her purse and cell phone inside her home. Her family have said all along that she was in danger. Michael Stennet, a former co-worker, was arrested Monday, accused of stalking her ahead of his rape trial. Jordan was supposed to testify at his trial on Monday. Additionally, Jordan said her house had been shot in the days leading up to her disappearance. She successfully filed a restraining order against Stennet. His arrest Monday was connected to breaking that order.
