U.S. Unemployment Levels Climb To 245,000

The number of people applying for unemployment benefits in the U.S. went up for the week ending April 15.

According to data from the Labor Department, the number of new applications rose to 245 thousand.

This is a jump of about five thousand from the previous week. 

Meanwhile, the four-week moving barely changed, with a decrease of 500 from the previous week.
