VIDEO: Parma Police Arrest Suspect After Fleeing in Car and on Foot

PARMA - On March 21, around 4:20 in the afternoon, a Parma Police officer attempted to stop a red Ford Fusion in South Canterbury and Renwood Dr., The driver, 22-year-old Coley Ortez Demetrius Mack-Luckett, failed to stop after the officer initiated his lights and siren. Mack-Luckett fled from the officer before going to Westminster Dr. and heading north to Pearl Rd. He then drove eastbound on Snow Rd. from Pearl Rd. Before sideswiping two other motor vehicles that he tried to go between near the intersection of Snow Rd. and W. 79th St., he bailed from the car and fled northbound as officers searched the area. A Parma Police K-9 unit arrested Mack-Luckett on Dresden Ave.

The driver is a 22-year-old Coley Ortez Demetrius Mack-Luckett from E. 85th St. in Cleveland. Mack-Luckett was treated and released from University Hospital in Parma for his injuries.

The vehicle he was driving was stolen at gunpoint in a carjacking on September 20, 2022, in Parma.

The victims in the vehicles that Mack-Luckett hit did not suffer serious injuries.
