Stark County Sex Offender Arrested In Columbus Motel With 14-Year-Old

CANTON, OH – The U.S. Marshals in Columbus in conjunction with the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Skylar Losey (23) of Massillon, Ohio. Losey was wanted by the Stark County Sheriff’s Office and Stark County Adult Probation for violating conditions of his probation. Losey was previously convicted of gross sexual imposition of a child victim, approximately 6 years of age, and placed on probation.

On Friday, the U.S. Marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team acted on information received from the Task Force and arrested Losey at the Norwood Inn and Suites, located in the 1200 block of E. Dublin Grandville Rd. Columbus. During the arrest, SOFAST recovered a juvenile (14) staying with Losey at the motel. The juvenile was turned over to local authorities in Columbus for further identification and investigation. Losey was transported to the Franklin County Jail where he will wait extradition back to Stark County.
