If you like to work out in the morning, you may have to figure out your eating schedule.
According to experts, there really is no set rule on WHEN you should eat.
“It’s a bit of an individualized recommendation,” says Kristen Smith of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. “While not everyone will require eating something before a workout, for some, it might be beneficial to eat a small carbohydrate-rich snack.”
If you end up eating before a workout, Smith recommends foods "...such as dry cereal, dried fruits, peanut butter with fruit, or oatmeal with milk and fruit."
