Short. Sweet. Film Fest is returning this year at Atlas Cinemas Shaker Square.

The event has grown so much and used to be at Market Garden Brewery, and now it's taking over Shaker Square!

The festival starts Monday (March 1) and will run through Sunday (March 5).

The categories featured include drama, comedy, documentary, animation, international, student, local, short series pilot or episode, horror, LGBTQ, experimental, music video, fan fiction, animal film, virtual reality, and short screenplay.

"Our goal for our twelfth annual film festival is to showcase films under 40 minutes to the growing art scene in the greater Cleveland area and highlight the works of the student to veteran filmmakers across the country," according to the website.

Film Festival started with Michael Sugilo, who watched bands perform, then realized hosting a film festival in a club atmosphere was a great informal idea.

Tickets range from $0-$99 depending on which day(s) and times you want to go.
