A U-Haul driver is in custody after plowing into multiple pedestrians in Brooklyn.
The driver was reportedly fleeing a traffic stop and screaming that he "wanted to die" when he crashed into victims in the Bay Ridge neighborhood.
The vehicle was eventually stopped and the driver arrested.
Eight people were injured, with two victims hospitalized in critical condition and two more in serious condition, police say.
