Mentor Police Department Looking to Hire Five New Officers

Mentor – The Mentor Police Department is hiring. The Mentor Police Department wants to hire five full-time police officers in 2023. The department offers competitive pay, medical, dental, and vision benefits, a retirement plan, and a deferred comp plan. Most believe that law enforcement should be held to a high standard, and the Mentor Police Department agrees, which is why they seek the best regional candidates to join their team. All interested candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. If you haven't attended the police academy, that's ok – Mentor PD is willing to pay your tuition.

Candidates are required to complete an application and take the National Testing Network's Law Enforcement Frontline National Exam to be considered for the eligibility list. Test scores will only be accepted from exams taken between March 13, 2022, to March 13, 2023.

The deadline for submission is Monday, March 13, 2023.
