Sister André of France, Dies At Age 118 - World's Oldest Person

Sister André, the world’s oldest person, has died. She was born Lucille Randon in Southern France on February 11, 1904, and became known as Sister Andre upon taking religious vows in 1944. She experienced 2 World Wars, watching her older brother go off to fight and taking care of widows and orphans during WWII. The Catholic nun is said to have enjoyed a glass of wine and a bit of chocolate daily. Sister André was 118 years old.
