Bond Set a Women Accused of Stabbing Her Elderly Parents

North Ridgeville - On Monday, Bond was set at 240,000 Dollars for 34-year-old Emily Deese. Deese is in court facing charges for an alleged assault that took place on Tuesday, December 6th, at around 4:30 in the afternoon.

The North Ridgeville Police Department reported they got the call of an assault on 6632 Amber way. When Police arrived, they found that 34-year-old Emily Deese had stabbed both of her parents numerous times. Deese had chased her Father out of the house and continued to try and stab him until Police caught up and arrested Emily Deese on Wildlife Trail, about half a mile away from where the assault began. Authorities took her 69-year-old Father and 67-year-old mother to St. Johns Westshore for treatment. Both parents survived the stabbing and are out of the hospital. Emily Deese also received injuries during the stabbings and was treated.

Emily Deese is facing charges of,

  • Two counts of attempted murder 
  • Four counts of felonious assault 

Emily Deese declined a public defender. Instead, she is choosing to represent herself in court.
