CLEVELAND – The Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter will offer reduced adoption fees from now until the end of November due to an increase in incoming dogs. Prices have been lowered to $20 per adoption until November 30.

CCAS is only charging for the dog license due to the unusually high number of dogs this time of year. Every dog that is adopted receives spay/neuter services, vaccines, a 2023 dog license, a microchip, and a current rabies tag.

Adoption fees are usually $95, but through November 30 will be $20.

“The shelter has maintained a high number of dogs in our care year to date, therefore we have many wonderful pets still looking for new homes,” said Animal Shelter Administrator Mindy Naticchioni. “As the holidays approach we know this year will be especially difficult for people and we want to ensure we have space to accept incoming animals.”

Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter is open to the public Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from Noon to 4:00 p.m.

Available pets can be viewed at https://www.cuyahogadogs.com/
