Chris Ronayne Elected New Cuyahoga County Executive

CLEVELAND - Democratic candidate Chris Ronayne easily defeated Republican candidate Lee Weingart and will become the new Cuyahoga County Executive when he's sworn in. The Bay Village native served as president of University Circle Inc. before seeking political office. He will replace Armond Budish, who decided not to run for re-election. During Cleveland Mayor Jane Campbell's administration, Ronayne served as chief of staff. 

On Tuesday night, he gave his victory speech before family, friends, and supporters at Masthead Brewing Company in downtown Cleveland.
