Browns WR Donovan Peoples-Jones on Gravitating Towards Brissett

On the Browns offense with QB Jacoby Brissett taking first-team reps:

“It has been good. Just building chemistry and getting better day in and day out.”

On if Brissett is a funny person, given teammates have described him that way and Brissett has shared he does not necessarily believe he is a funny person:

“He is a funny guy. I would say so. He is a funny personality.”

On Browns players gravitating towards Brissett:

“He is a cool guy in the locker room. He is always himself. Even over the offseason when we were getting together and then even in the OTAs, his personality is probably easy to get along with.”

On WR Daylen Baldwin, who also attended the University of Michigan:

“Daylen has done a really good job. From the first day when he came in, learned the playbook really fast – extremely fast. Doing all of the assignments right. He has done a great job.

On if he has taken Baldwin under his wing, given their shared college:

“We all just share knowledge with each other and try to get better.”

On reuniting with CB Lavert Hill:

“It has been good. It has been good. Me and Lavert, we went to Michigan together, played in high school together and traveled around the country on college visits together. I know him very well, and it is a blessing that we are both here together.”

On what the Browns offense needs to accomplish with Brissett starting in Saturday’s preseason game against the Bears:

“Just going out there and continuing to work the things we have worked this whole training camp. Continue to cross our t’s and dot our i’s. Just go out there and compete.”
