A grocery store in Illinois has earned itself a spot in the Guinness World Records book by putting together a fruit display using bananas. A lot of bananas.

A Jewel-Osco store in Westmont has claimed the record for the World's Largest Fruit Display by using 70,000 pounds of bananas to construct the outdoor monstrosity. The record was verified on Thursday by a Guinness official, after which store officials began handing out the bananas to residents.

Apparently, the residents of Westmont really love bananas. A rep for Jewel-Osco says the store stocks a whopping 140,000 pounds of the fruit every day, noting they're Jewel-Osco's top-selling item.
