Guardians could be without their superstar third baseman for the foreseeable future. Jose Ramirez will have X-rays on his right shin after he was injured in the eighth inning of Cleveland's loss yesterday. Ramirez fouled a ball off of his shin before hitting an RBI single. The club hopes that Ramirez won't miss much time, as he's hitting .280 with eight home runs and 34 RBI this season.

Cincinnati Reds broke a 1-1 tied with three runs in the eighth inning of a 4-2 win over the Cleveland Guardians at Progressive Field. Kyle Farmer hit an RBI single in the frame, while the other two runs scored on an error and a sacrifice fly. Tyler Naquin went deep in the victory, while Luis Cessa picked up the win in relief. Cal Quantrill gave up just one run over seven innings before Trevor Stephan was tagged with the loss in relief. Cincinnati improves to 11-and-26 with the win, while Cleveland falls to 16-and-19. Aaron Civale starts for the Guardians tonight against the Tigers
