Cleveland Man Sentenced To Prison For His Part in May 30th Riots

Cleveland - MICHEAL SLOAN, 27, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit arson. According to court documents, on May 30, 2020, Sloan was in downtown Cleveland to protest the death of George Floyd. Video recordings show Sloan entering Rebol Restaurant multiple times over twenty minutes. He then set fire to Rebol’s service counter. Video also showed Sloan continuing to feed the fire for several minutes until the fire began to burn. He has been sentenced to 43 months in prison. You can read the statement in full below.
