Gas Prices Hit All-Time High in Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--The price of a gallon of gas in the state of Ohio reached an all-time high on Tuesday.

AAA reported the price at $4.17, topping the previous all-time high, set back in 2011, at $4.15.

The most expensive areas in Ohio Tuesday were Carroll and Allen Counties at $4.26, Hocking County at $4.25, and Williams County at $4.23.

In central Ohio, columbusgasprices.com is reporting the average price for a gallon of regular at $4.20.

It's still lower than the average price across the country, which AAA reported Tuesday morning at $4.37.
