CLEVELAND - According to Mike West of the County Board of Elections, The issues reported this morning had been fixed. The electronic poll book was not working this morning, so many polling locations had to go back to the "Old Fashioned Way." This way made voters sign for their ballots manually instead of electronically. There were no issues with the ballot scanner, as reported.

"There was nothing wrong with the scanners that voters used to scan their ballot, there is a scanner function on the electronic poll book, so the issue we had was with the issues of checking people in and checking their ballot" -Mike West

The technical issues lasted only an hour. After that, the voting went on with no problems to report. The polls close tonight at 7:30.
