North Royalton - About twenty protesters gathered in front of the North Royalton Police Department.

"Remove, indict, convict, send those killer cops to jail," the protester chanted over the death of Jun Wong in October of 2016.

Police say an officer fatally shot Wong after he stabbed another policeman in the face and leg while they responded to a call from his sister at her Independence Place apartment.

"The North Royalton Police Department burst into the house," said protester Elaine Schleiffer. "the protest is asking for respect for the life and the murder of our murdered brother, Jun Wong who was shot by the North Royalton Police Department."

They say they planned to take him to St. Vincent Charity Hospital for help during his episode.

The North Royalton officer has recovered from non-life-threatening injuries.
