Guardians Beat The Reds 10-5 On A Ramirez Grand Slam

Cleveland Guardians broke a 4-4 tie with six runs in the ninth inning of a 10-5 win over the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park. Andres Gimenez hit a two-run home run to start the rally, and Jose Ramirez ended it with a grand slam. Ramirez finished the day with three hits and six RBI. Trevor Stephan earned his first win in relief. Cleveland has won three straight. Tyler Naquin went two-for-three with a double, home run, and two RBI in the losing effort. Hunter Strickland was tagged with the loss after allowing four runs in a third of an inning. The Reds fall to 2-and-3. Triston McKenzie starts for Cleveland in game two of the series today, while the Reds haven't announced their starter for this afternoon's contest.
