Ukrainian President Zelenskyy Agrees To Talks With Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he has agreed to meet with the Russians at the border of Belarus.

Zelenskyy said in a statement that he had spoken with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and got approval to have talks with Russia at the border of the neighboring country.

Lukashenko is seen as an ally to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to Zelenskyy's office, Lukashenko “has taken responsibility for ensuring that all planes, helicopters and missiles stationed on Belarusian territory will remain on the ground during the Ukrainian delegation’s travel, talks and return.”
