A man who fell off his boat into the icy waters of the Pacific Ocean managed to swim to safety - with the help of a harbor seal.
Scott Thompson was convinced he was going to die after falling out of his boat wearing just shorts and a t-shirt.
He began to swim towards an oil rig when a seal began to nudge him along "like a dog comes up and nudges your leg".
Thompson says the seal helped him stay focused and keep going - eventually making it to the rig after five hours in the water.
