If Russian forces invade Ukraine, the United States will "rally the world to oppose its aggression."
That's the word from President Joe Biden, who spoke Tuesday about the Russia-Ukraine crisis. He also said the U.S. isn't alone in condemning Russia's threat to its neighboring country, noting that "responsible nations across the world" will join in on the response if the attack happens.
Although Russian officials claim they've started withdrawing troops from the border they share with Ukraine, Biden noted the U.S. "has not yet verified" the report, adding "Invasion still remains distinctly possible."
