(Cleveland, OH) - Currently, there are over 460 Ohio National Guard Members deployed to Cleveland to help with the Coronavirus response.
Today, Governor DeWine called upon an additional 1,250 National Guard Members at the request of hospital leaders.
"This is not something that we do lightly," DeWine said. "We are asking our fellow citizens to leave their families, to leave their jobs and to leave their homes."
Less than two weeks ago 1,050 National Guard members were deployed to the state's hospitals.
