Cuyahoga County Jail Reports Spike in Positive Cases of COVID-19

(Cleveland, OH) - The Cuyahoga County Jail is reporting a spike in cases of inmates testing positive for COVID-19.

Authorities reported 147 positive COVID-19 cases, over ten-percent of total COVID positive tests for inmates since the start of the pandemic.

Reports indicate a total of 830 inmates in exposure isolation.

A total of 475 inmates have received vaccinations by MetroHealth Hospital Systems.
