Philadelphia residents and visitors to the city must now show proof of vaccination if they want to dine at a restaurant or other food establishment.
Starting January 3, customers will now have to show their vaccine cards and a form of government I-D to dine out.
The city is allowing folks to show a negative COVID test within 24 hours of dining but that will only be the case from January 3 through January 17 before the tests are no longer accepted.
The requirements do not apply to those who are exempt from vaccination including kids five and under and those with religious or medical exemptions.
