The U.S hasn't seen inflation increases such as now since 1982. The latest Consumer Price Index, released Friday, shows inflation rose .8% for the month of November and 6.8% on a year over year basis. The unfortunate surge is its' fastest rate since June of '82.
Price increases came from familiar items and goods such as energy which was up 3.5-percent last month and up 33.3% since November of 2020.
Food prices increased 6.1-percent over the year while prices for used cars and trucks were up 2-and-a-half percent last month and up 31.4% since November of 2020.
