Michigan School Shooting Leaves Three Students Dead; 8 Others Injured

Three students were killed, 7 others and a teacher injured when police say a 15-year old Sophomore student opened fire at Oxford High School near Detroit just before 1pm Tuesday.

The student shooter was taken into custody after turning himself in to responding officers. Investigators believe the suspect acted alone and are now scouring social media for hints as to a possible motive.

The Oakland County, Michigan Prosecutor, Karen McDonald promises to hit the suspect with 'appropriate charges quickly.' The three students who was fatally shot were two girls, ages 14 and 17 and a 16 year old boy.

Two of the other victims were in surgery Tuesday night while the other six injured are listed in stable condition.
