Cleveland, OH - Good news is in order for The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! After an eventful year of hosting the induction ceremony, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced it has received a $2 million grant from the George Gund Foundation to expand outdoors.
The George Gund Foundation is a non-profit institution with the sole purpose of contributing to human well-being and the progress of society named after the founder George Gund II who was a philanthropist and businessman. The Foundation has donated over $700 million grants towards civic engagement, community and economic development, human services, public education, and racial inequality.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame says that the grant will fund the development of a community green space between the Hall and the Great Lakes Science Center.
