"Deck the Hall" Brings 1 Million Lights to Akron's Stan Hywet Hall

Akron, OH - Though Halloween is right around the corner, Stan Hywet Hall and Garden Estate has just announced there Deck the Halls: Lights, Camera, Christmas event starting in November. The garden will feature over one million lights to really put you in a festive mood for the holiday season.

Some highlights of Deck the Halls will take place in the Carriage House Courtyard where the centerpiece is a large decorated Christmas tree. In the the Manor House expect to see some of your favorite Christmas movies with a Classic Christmas movie theme. Next is a Reception Hall which is pit stop in the 60 minute walking tour for people that want refreshments and the tour stops in the gardens and grounds that have the biggest show where all the lights will be displayed. The event is a self guided so goers can expect to see Santa and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and will even be able to interact with them as long as you follow Stan Hywet's COVID-19 protocols of wearing a masks indoors at all times.

The tickets will be available to at stanhywet.org and tickets will be not sold during the event, so make sure you check the dates below for a time to go!

*Monday-Thursday: Ticket Prices: $18 adults (18+), $7 youth (6-17) > Friday - Sunday: Ticket Prices: $22 adults (18+), $9 youth (6-17) > All nights: children 5 & under, free. Students with valid ID may purchase a ticket at a youth price and present valid ID upon arrival.
