The HBA’s Charitable & Education Foundation (HBA CEF) was founded in 2012 to provide scholarships for students entering the construction industry and to give back to the community through special charitable donations. Donations have been made to the Greater Cleveland Fisher House, Special Veterans in Need, Homes for Our Troops, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and Make-A-Wish.
The HBA’s Charitable & Education Foundation has a scholarship fund and through an application process, scholarships are made available to area high schools, vocational schools and college students interested in entering the construction industry.
Our HBA Workforce Development Committee has aligned with the Foundation to help raise funds for outreach initiatives that benefit students, the community and the construction industry.
If you would like to get involved with the HBA’s Charitable & Education Foundation, please contact the HBA office at 216-447-8700.
