Browns LB Jeremiah Owusu-Karamoah Prepares for Travis Kelce

On his readiness for Week 1, given the time missed during training camp and the preseason:

“Everybody comes into this believing that they are ready. I do not think any guy who would come up here and you ask that question, and be like, ‘I am not ready.’ I am definitely ready. We put in the work, and we put in the time so we will see what pays off.”

On if he is excited he gets to test himself against one of the best offenses in football with the Chiefs in Week 1:

“My dad called me the other day and was like, ‘You did not get a warm-up yet?’ (laughter). It will be an exciting time. Every competitor wants to play against the best, and that is what we are doing.”

On how much film of Chiefs TE Travis Kelce he has been watching in preparation for Week 1:

“A high-rated guy. It is not foreign to me to have some type of matchup as such. Watched a lot of film and had to watch a lot of film to be able to be ready for a guy who is as talented as him. We will be ready. I will be ready. As a team, we are looking forward to game planning correctly.”

On what kind of role he is expecting to have this Sunday:

“Expecting to have a big role – nickel, some base and stuff like that.”

On if he watched the Notre Dame-Florida State game last night:

“Yeah. Let’s not talk about the comments here (laughter). It was a good game. Got out safe.”
