Cleveland Indians Partner to Bring the 1000th Wall of Love to Cleveland

(Cleveland, OH) - The Cleveland Indians have partnered with Walls of Love to present the organizations 1000th Wall of Love right here in the Cleveland community on 9/4/2021 at 10a.m.

The Wall of Love will be placed at the ballpark fencing on the corner of Carnegie and Ontario for the public.

Walls of Love is a nationwide initiative founded in the heart of Cleveland, Ohio by Holly Jackson.

In November 2018, Holly started the Walls of Love campaign to give back to her local community in Cleveland, Ohio and the surrounding neighborhoods by hanging necessities and winter gear on walls within regions of poverty.

Through Walls of Love, hundreds of volunteers throughout the region have gathered within schools, churches and community centers to package items for future walls and connect to their neighbors in need.

In the organization's short existence, over 999 Walls of Love have been placed helping over 325,000 individuals. Walls of Love are currently throughout: Ohio, Michigan, Colorado, Alaska, Virginia, Arkansas, Maryland, Texas, Florida, Kentucky, Alabama, New York, New Jersey, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Illinois, South Carolina, Missouri and are upcoming in: California, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Vermont, Arizona, and Canada.

Walls of Love has been featured in the December 30, 2019 edition of Woman’s World Magazine, Houstonia Magazine, The Washington Post, on Nick Cannon’s Morning Show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Hoda and Jenna, and on news outlets including CNN, WKYC, Fox 8, Channel 5 News and the Today Show.
