(Cleveland, OH) - The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is extending the Asian Lantern Festival this year and it will now go until Sunday, Septmeber 26th.
The three-week extension gives people 11 additional opportunities to visit the festival, including a drive-thru date on September 15th.
The reason for the extension is because capacity had to be reduced due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
It’s estimated that more than 122,000 visitors already have attended this year’s festival, which features more than 70 all-new displays and over 1,000 illuminated lanterns.
Tickets for zoo members for the festival are $18 each or a four-pack for $54. Advance non-member tickets are $20 each or a four-pack for $60.
Same day tickets can be purchased at the box office for $22 each or a four-pack for $66. Drive-through tickets are $54 per vehicle for members and $60 per vehicle for non-members.
Children under 2 are admitted free.
