TORONTO, ON -- The Cleveland Indians found themselves in a pitcher's duel in the opening game of a 4-game series in Toronto. Harold Ramirez and Oscar Mercado helped get the tribe on board in the 3rd inning, each ripping an RIB single. MVP candidate Vladimir Guerrero tied things up at two on a 2-run moonshot to left field. In the top half of the 10th inning, former Cleveland bullpen arm Brad Hand was called upon to shut the door, but the Indians had other ideas. After chasing a low breaking ball, Jose Ramirez bounced back by smoking a 2-run shot off of the left field pole to give his team a 5-2 lead. Emmanuel Clase shut down the Jays in order to secure a 5-2 win.

Tribe starter Eli Morgan gave his club everything that he had against a high powered Blue jays batting order. Morgan finished his day with a final line of 2 earned runs on 5 hits, striking out 9 while walking one in 6 full innings of work.

The Cleveland Indians and Toronto Blue Jays will square off in game 2 of the series on Tuesday evening. First pitch is set for 7:07 pm ET at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario. Check out highlights from today's game below!
