Cleveland, OH - The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo will kick off the grand opening of the Eagle Zip Adventure attraction tomorrow, July 27, 2021.
The Eagle Zip Adventure ride is a two person seated zip line that will takes guests to new heights above Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and Waterfowl Lake. Guests enter the platform next to the historic wade hall. Riders are pulled backwards over Waterfowl Lake and up 150 feet above the Zoo offering views as far as downtown Cleveland. After pausing at the top for a moment, riders are released for a thrilling 700-foot zip ride back down to the starting platform, reaching speeds up to 35 miles per hour. Riders must meet a minimum height of 42” to ride with a paying adult or 48” or taller to ride alone.
Following a social media contest on Cleveland Metroparks Zoo's Instagram, two lucky winners will be selected to be the first members of the public to experience the all-new Eagle Zipline at tomorrow's grand opening event.
