Cuyahoga County Reminds Voters of Important Deadlines

(Cleveland, OH) – Ohio voters in 27 Cuyahoga County municipalities will go to the polls on August 3,2021 to cast ballots in the 11th Congressional District Special Primary Election. The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections is reminding voters to return their voted ballots.

To be counted, Vote-by-Mail ballots must be postmarked on or before August 2, 2021 or be hand-delivered to the Board of Elections by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.

A secure ballot drop box is available in the rear parking lot of the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections 24 hours a day.

Early In-Person Voting hours, listed below:

Weekdays July 26th–July 30th 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Saturday July 31st 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Sunday August 1st 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Monday August 2nd 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Polling locations will be open for Election Day Voting from 6:30 a.m. through 7:30 p.m. Voters should arrive with identification when voting on Election Day.

Acceptable forms of identification include: an unexpired Ohio Driver’s License or State ID Card, military identification, utility bill, bank statement, government check or current paycheck with the voter’s name and present address.

During Election Day voting, health and safety measures will be in place to protect voters and Election Day Workers.
