(Cleveland) - A teenage boy drowned Monday night at Villa Angela Beach on the east side.
According to Cleveland Fire, the 14-year-old drowned about 7:15 Monday night. Witnesses said the boy was underwater for about 45 minutes before Cleveland Fire found his body.
A spokesman for Cleveland Metroparks says the boy was outside the designated swimming area at Villa Angela, and hew as in the water after lifeguards ended their shift for the day.
