Indians Fall to Mariners 7-3

SEATTLE, WA -- The Seattle Mariners jumped out in front early on when Kyle Seager sent a hanging slider over the fence in the first inning. Seattle top prospect Jarred Kelenic had the home town crowd going wild on Friday night, launching his first career homer and ripping an RBI double, leading the Mariners past the tribe by the final score of 7-3.

The Mariners top prospect and top 5 propect in the MLB left his mark on the game Friday night, driving in 3 RBI from the lead off spot. Seattle designated hitter Mitch Haniger blew the game wide open in the 8th inning on a 2-run blast to center field on a hanging curveball.

Tribe starter Aaron Civale did not look like his confident self, giving up 5 earned runs on 7 hits in 6.2 innings of work.

Cleveland will continue their series against the Seattle Mariners on Saturday evening. First pitch is set for 9:10 pm ET at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Washington.
